Hidden Serpent, our March release, has gone gold for Gary day! Get ‘em while they’re hot! Now through March 8th, Serpent, along with all our products, are on sale at RPGNOW! Check out the super cool cover art by Joanna Barnum! I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I just really like the spooky watercolor look.

HIDDEN SERPENT READY TO STRIKE!

Our March release is bighara’s tribute to a classic module, 20 pages packed with old-school, dungeon-crawl goodness, plus handouts, full-page maps, and the color cover. And what a cover! It’s far beyond our own meager talents. Baltimore painter Joanna Barnum created a spooky, dreamy watercolor vision that really captures the danger, fascination, and mystery of an underground labyrinth.

In theory we release new product on the first of each month, but for March, we’re putting out Hidden Serpent on GAME MASTER’S DAY: MARCH FOURTH. That means you can hit up RPGNow‘s GM’s Day Sale and save 25% on the brand-new Hidden Serpent, plus all our other products! You can even buy stuff from other game companies if you must. It’s the biggest sale of the year.

March 4th is also the day we celebrate the life of Gary Gygax, who passed away on March 4th, 2008. Roll a d20 for the old man.

Keeping it rolling along

We got final cover artwork from Joanna the other day and it looks very cool, IMO. Layout is in the works and we should be releasing The Hidden Serpent for Labyrinth Lord in early March (if not Mar. 1). It’s a low level, but not beginning character, adventure.

Serpent was kind of interesting project for me. It is sort of a re-imagining of a classic TSR module. My goal was for the place to have a more “functional” feel while at the same time maintaining a level of homage to the original’s slightly whimsical nature. I hope I succeeded. In a couple of weeks, I guess I’ll find out what you all think!
