Kind words (and numbers)

The illustrious James M. of Grognardia is among the first to read through all 116 pages of Lesserton & Mor, and he comes up with a very kind assessment.

Seeing James’s review, Zak. S of Playing D&D with Porn Stars picked up the PDF, and within hours had used the Random Ruins Generation charts from the Referee’s Guide to Mor to populate his own ruined city map. Then he invited commenters to help him flesh it out, in an act of “Gygaxian democracy.”

Thanks for looking at our stuff, gentlemen!

Off to Garycon!

I’m leeeaving on-a jetplane!

Yes, I’ll be winging (then rent-a-car-ing) my way to Lake Geneva, WI tomorrow. There’ll be gaming and fun and lots of grumpy old gamers like me. There will also be FMG product available at the Black Blade table in the exhibitor area. So come along if you can, and sling some dice where it all began!

Rumblings from Mr. Joel’s cage

  1. Faster Monkey Games will be at Garycon and Origins, and you just might see our products for sale at Gencon thanks to a secret awesome superhero fighting force for good.
  2. A few reviews for Lesserton & Mor are popping up. Consensus: (1) People like it; (2) It takes a long time to review because it’s so much friggin content!
  3. 15,000 words and a lot of graphics work into the next megadventure: completely different from L&M, but, I will say, even more ambitious…

The story continues…

Playing D&D with Stuffed Animals has continued their ruminations on Lesserton & Mor.

A year gone

Faster Monkey celebrates its one year anniversary this week (thanks, Editrixie for reminding us!)! With all the running around getting Mor ready to ship, we kind of forgot about the fact. It’s been a great year and we want to thank everyone who has helped us along the way. The folks at RPGNow, Black Blade, the artists, the many kind reviews, and –of course– you the customer.

This would be a great time to announce some cool anniversary sale, but frankly, it snuck up on us so we haven’t planned it YET. Keep your eyes open, though. We will do something soon to commemorate this milestone.
