Technomancer goes GOLD!
Apr 5
“It’s Mutant Future™ mayhem!” “No, it’s a Labyrinth Lord™ dungeon crawl!”
Relax, guys, you’re both right! REALM OF THE TECHNOMANCER challenges players of both campaign types with an unusual dimensional crossover adventure, presented in a unique back-to-back format. Just open the side you want to use tonight!
Something new has invaded an important underground complex… Will you be wizards and warriors gearing up to save the gnomes from strange humanoids, or mighty freaks of post-apocalyptic nature hired to drive out the alien troops of the mysterious Technomancer? REALM OF THE TECHNOMANCER offers dangers, rewards, new gear, and new monsters for post-apoc games like Mutant Future™ and old-school fantasy like Labyrinth Lord™ alike. Plus, the TECHNOMANCY appendix gives simple, vivid rules for what happens when technology and magic try to mix, and the results are often not pretty…
Whichever world you hail from, the Technomancer doesn’t belong there, and it’s up to you to drive him out.
EDIT: Sniderman, over at Savage Afterworld has already kindly posted some remarks!
Lots of doings
Apr 1
Things have been busy behind the scenes here in the monkeycage, but progress continues to be made. The first printing of Lesserton and Mor nearly sold out! But another run has been ordered. The new copies will be clearly labeled “2nd printing”, so if want to hang out with the cool “1st” kids on the OSR playground, place your order soon!
In other news, Realm of the Technomancer copies should be arriving any day now. This module not only lets you play a cross-genre adventure with fantasy or post-apocalyptic future PCs, but it also gives you a basic tool-kit for mixing science and magic in your games. Not to mention the purdy pictures by Steve Zieser and Mark Allen!
Coming down the pipeline.

What? ALREADY!?
Yes, already.
We’ve got a new module on its way (at printers) for you all. This one is a little bit different. You can run it with Labyrinth Lord OR Mutant Future! That’s right, people. It’s cross-genre mayhem as sorcery and technology collide in Realm of the Technomancer!
Here’s a little teaser art from our buddy Steve Z. This time IN COLOR!

A year gone
Feb 10
Faster Monkey celebrates its one year anniversary this week (thanks, Editrixie for reminding us!)! With all the running around getting Mor ready to ship, we kind of forgot about the fact. It’s been a great year and we want to thank everyone who has helped us along the way. The folks at RPGNow, Black Blade, the artists, the many kind reviews, and –of course– you the customer.
This would be a great time to announce some cool anniversary sale, but frankly, it snuck up on us so we haven’t planned it YET. Keep your eyes open, though. We will do something soon to commemorate this milestone.
More Mor news
Feb 4
Big news for us Monkeys. The final changes to Lesserton & Mor’s proof have been sent back to the printers. We expect it to go to press within the next day or so and be finished before the end of next week. As soon as the copies arrive at Black Blade, we’ll let everyone know that it is available. Here’s the basic description:
Lesserton and Mor: A Place to Risk Your Life… and a Place to live it up
Once, the vast city of Great Mor stood as mankind’s proudest achievement, civilization’s farthest outpost, impregnable to any invasion… or so the Dukes of Morland believed. But when the mighty Half-Orc Lord unified all the barbaric humans and humanoids of Eastern Valnwall into a single giant army, and the Wood Elf King abandoned the humans to their doom, Great Mor fell. Something more than warfare tore through the city, destroying invader and defender alike, laying waste for miles around. The survivors clung to a bit of rock in the swamp and slowly built up the town of Lesserton: home base for any who dare enter the Ruins of Mor and hope to return with treasure and their lives.
And some more about what to expect:
BIG
As previously mentioned, Lesserton and Mor is over 110 pages in three separate volumes, all fitted into a full-color wraparound referee screen with a fantastic cover painting by Pete Mullen. The screen has Mark Allen’s exquisite map-illustration of the town of Lesserton on the back and a double-sized color map of the Ruins of Mor inside. The whole packages comes shrink-wrapped together, so buy two: one to play and one to maintain in pristine, collectible freshness!
