Hello from the monkey cage!
We are inches from launch and, let me tell you, the monkeys are restless! It seems half our efforts are directed at not rushing things so that all the little details are right. We don’t want to put something out there that isn’t as good as we can make it, so we are clenching our jaws and tapping our fingers waiting not-so-patiently. Readiness is all, they say.
FMG’s initial offering will be the ever-so-nifty “Turntracker.” With Labyrinth Lord™ and OSRIC™ compatible versions, this little gaming aid makes book-keeping a LOT simpler.
Our first Labyrinth Lord module will be a joint project called “Wheel of Evil.” Mr. Joel and I had a lot of fun writing this one, and we hope you all enjoy it too.
Mr. Joel is complaining that the manacles hurt his wrists, but it’s the only way to get him to finish layout on our initial Savage Worlds release, “The Garden of Miracles.” It’s a great module (the first in a series) and carries the stamp of his insane attention to detail. Oh sure, he’s griping now, but the real test will be prying Garden away from him without just one more tweak.
Next up in the LL line will be a module entitled “The Hidden Serpent.” It is awaiting the final cover art from the extremely talented Joanna Barnum. Take a look at her gorgeous gallery on her site. (Go on, do it!) Serpent is slated for a March release.
Anyhow, that’s the word for now. More to come.
